The Ijaw Youth Council is organizing a Symposium on Amnesty and its Strategic Implications to sustainable peace, with an end of year Dinner/Award night commemorating 11th year anniversary of Kaiama Declaration. The awards are designed to appreciate and encourage groups and individuals whom have added value to society and mankind. The Dinner/Award is scheduled for 7pm Friday December 18th 2009 at Wellington Hotel Warri, Delta State.:. IYC has been involved in issues affecting the Ijaws. Over the years we have been mediating in activities aimed at conflict resolution better living conditions for the Ijaw man and total development of the Ijaws and its territories
